E3 2014: EA Press Conference.

While we have chosen to focus on the big 3 for our most in depth coverage, You can watch the other press conferences here and We'll highlight the high points of each big conference below the videos. Enjoy!

Star Wars Battlefront Reboot: While this has been rumored and teased a couple of times, I do believe that this is finally the real deal. Not to much info to start, but the early game stuff looks phenomenal.

Bioware: We got to some really really good Dragon Age footage. The visuals are stunning, combat looks crisp and clean, and presentation was phenominal with a live music performance that rivals many professional orchestras (Hell they probably were a professional orchestra.) We also go a very early look at the next Mass Effect game, that really only told us it was going to be a new story in a new part of the Galaxy. I hope my decisions from the previous series matters, as this is my favorite game series of all time.

The Sims 4: The most lackluster presentation of the bunch, the Sims 4 is promision new emotions and personalities for your Sims. It looked like more of the same to me, but I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

EA Sports: I'm lumping all the sports titles together because they all are doing the same thing. Better graphics on the new hardware, combined with engine upgrades to make the games even smarter and more realistic than before. I will say that for a few of the titles, the graphics are starting to hit uncanny valley territory. I'm unsure as to whether or not that will transfer to the full releases yet.

Mirrors Edge 2: It seemed mostly in early development at this point, but all of us in the critics world loved Mirrors Edge. We are super pumped that they are making a new one. It looks beautiful, but it was basically developers promoting the game. I'd expect a 2016 release date.

Battlefield Hardline: They really did save the best for last. Hardline looks epic in every way. The scale of the levels looks larger than ever, the destructible environments looks more dynamic than before, and who doesn't love a good game of Cops and Robbers? They announced an open beta to PS4 Players, and a first come first serve Beta to PC players. It's probably full by now, but you can find out here.

Well, that was the EA conference. Coming up next is the Ubisoft conference, and to see what happened at the Microsoft conference go here.
